InspectStocks explains what a public company does and how its business is going, using the figures the company itself reports.
What it is
For every company that files with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, we build a decade of financial history, grade the business on a published set of checks, and show the numbers behind every grade. Screeners, peer comparisons, earnings calendars and portfolios are built on the same data.
Where the numbers come from
Financial figures come from the companies’ own SEC filings, processed automatically and checked against independent sources. Prices come from licensed market data providers. When we cannot find a figure, we say so rather than fill the gap with a guess.
What it is not
InspectStocks describes businesses. It does not tell you what to buy or sell, and a grade says nothing about whether the share price is attractive. It is not investment advice.
